Kids Do Ecology 2003 Poster Session

This May we celebrated a great spring with another fantastic Kids Do Ecology Poster Session. Students from 5 classrooms presented their projects at NCEAS to share what they learned with each other and NCEAS residents. Projects ranged from examining the affects of vegetation on insect abundance, to bioaccumulation of poison in the California condor food chain. This year it was our privilege to be joined by California State Assembly Member Hanna-Beth Jackson. She presented Certificates of Recognition to each participating classroom.
These students share what they found out about insect diversity on the Douglass Preserve.

This student learned a lot about spider habitats
Thank you students, teachers, and volunteers for all of your hard work this year!
